LOAD RATING
Compression load tested to yield strength capacity 50kN and safe stress limit of 10kN
Stackable
Timber sole boards are often thrown in a pile, making them difficult to stack for transport and storage. SafeSoul’s innovative interlocking system makes them easy to stack, transport and store.
Practical
The interlocking design means multiple SafeSoul sole boards can be connected at right angles to safely support scaffolding even in uneven ground.
Compliant
Providing a safe environment and meeting compliance requirements is an ongoing priority; even with the ambiguity of the regulations you know SafeSoul is a safe, compliant foundation, every time.
Durable
Timber sole boards degrade over time. SafeSoul is engineered in UV resistant plastic with a five year guarantee and is compression load tested to yield strength capacity 50kN and safe stress limit of 10kN.
Ergonomic
Timber sole boards weigh around 2.5 kilograms, SafeSoul boards weigh 800 grams, making them easier to stack and carry while reducing the physical impact on workers.
Visible
Timber sole boards can blend with mud, dirt and worksite debris, both presenting a trip hazard and making them easy to miss in site cleanup, the vibrant red of SafeSoul makes it hard to miss and easy to find.
Innovative
Recognising the innovation behind the design, SafeSoul sole boards have been granted a patent in New Zealand and Australia and are patent pending in the United States.
Valuable
Replacing timber sole boards is an ongoing expense, SafeSoul boards are an asset, so they can be insured and borrowed against as a business investment.
Trackable
Through deterioration, low perceived value and loss during site tidy, sole boards are notoriously difficult to track. SafeSoul boards add ease and reliability to inventory tracking and management.
Who designed SafeSoul?
Over twenty years of experience in the scaffolding industry means Tod Kelly knew the safety issues facing the industry and was concerned enough to engineer a better way.
Starting with the familiar shape and size of a wooden sole board, Tod first looked at how it could be made safer – and then what functional features could be added, without overcomplicating the design.
The result is SafeSoul, an innovative scaffolding foundation that is strong, safe and sustainable.
